A song from a living room, spontaneous and emotional. I wrote it the week before I had to finish my EP. The same day as I were to send it to master, I went sat down in my room and recorded a demo. When I listened back I felt the vibes sparkle; the raw and honest sound touched me. I often feel like these emotions get lost in mixing and tweaking. I therefore decided tto put this new track on the EP. No, it's not perfect. But it's a moment, a moment I want to share with my listeners.
lyrics
Please show me your smile babe
Like you used to do
I know when you shining
You can make it through
Don’t wait in the rain
It is not where you belong
I know I leave you hail, You'll turn it into sun
Keep holding to the bright side
When I am gone
You've given me colors
has stabled my road
How did I deserve you, babe
A man made of gold
Alone I must walk now
Over foreign land
Untill we meet again,Keep riding your road
Keep holding to the bright side
When I am gone
Don't soak yourself grey babe
When I am gone far
There's care to be found
In other sweet hearts
When it rains in your heart
It burns in my bones
When your tears are hail, Mine are rolling stones
Keep holding to the bright side
When I am gone
I never knew loving
Darling now I do
I never liked travelling
Now Im leaving you
I'm weak and I'm scared
I've held to the end
Keep holding to the bright side
When I am gone

Red Elk discovered a few years back that he his family was native Americans. Since then has he dedicated his music to those traditions. It's brave and different and very inspiring! Eli Gauden
