Wild Flower 04:10
Where those wild, wild flowers used to grow. Where the secret truths could freely blow Every inch of me was held and touched by softest, soothing spell Where those wild wild flowers used to grow. Where did you go? When the deep deep forest was our home Every root and branch was filled with hope The humming morning birds would sing The songs that lingers miles within When the deep deep forest was our home Where did it go? In the pure pure waters we’d fall While the river streams our minds would enthrall The sun would light my silhouette We’d shine forever, there’s no edge In the pure pure waters we’d fall Where did it go? Then the smart smart hours entered in And the ego talked us into sins Turned our river to semester, our woods to brick, there goes our land/sea to sand When the dark dark hours entered in. For time to tell we all await, How much damage can we take? When those smart, smart hours enter in Those wild wild flowers I keep within Oh my wild wild flowers, one day we’ll win.

Have you listen to my heartbeats? Have you listen to my words? Have you read between the lines, or can you love before you find. You know, maybe I ain’t your girl Maybe I ain’t your girl Have you seen really seen my eyes Studied my many shades of blue Can see them in the dark, close your eyes yet see them spark? maybe blue ain’t for you. maybe blue ain’t for you. Aren’t there something you forget? x3 Give and take ain’t over yet. You look at me, darling I’m here. Look at me, darling I’m here. If my mind got set on fire If I lost my thoughts to stones/if my thoughts turned into stones If I went down the deep dark valley, where no man should ever go? Would you find me and follow me home? Would you find me and follow me home?

Please show me your smile babe Like you used to do I know when you shining You can make it through Don’t wait in the rain It is not where you belong I know I leave you hail, You'll turn it into sun Keep holding to the bright side When I am gone You've given me colors has stabled my road How did I deserve you, babe A man made of gold Alone I must walk now Over foreign land Untill we meet again,Keep riding your road Keep holding to the bright side When I am gone Don't soak yourself grey babe When I am gone far There's care to be found In other sweet hearts When it rains in your heart It burns in my bones When your tears are hail, Mine are rolling stones Keep holding to the bright side When I am gone I never knew loving Darling now I do I never liked travelling Now Im leaving you I'm weak and I'm scared I've held to the end Keep holding to the bright side When I am gone

about

"Organic, acoustic, folk from Norwegian singer/songwriter Eli Gauden. Raw voice and resonator sound, mixed with elements from both the natural and electronic world."

I am only a young, heartfelt soul who dreams about green summers, white winters, and blue rivers. However, I want to use my music to share these dreams with you, and invite you to take action with me. You see, despite any believes or statistics, we do always have a choice to take better care of our earth. We do have a choice to think green, act locally, and befriend the environment.

As a reminder and inspiration, to myself and others, I created the EP "Follow Me Home". The physical EP is printed as a Vinyl and sold inside small, washable and reusable eco-bags. 50% of the revenues from the physical sale this year(2018) goes to Greenpeace. The EP also includes the song Wild Flower, which is my love-song to the earth, and prayer for its future.

The release, Follow Me Home, does not alone make the greatest difference for nature. Still, I hope you will use that tiny little eco-bag, listen to my music, and smile to the nature around you.
